Incident Reports, Caitlin Thomson

The sky was slate again – last night,
empty above England.
All true lights and their reflections
vanished forty days ago.
There was no cloud cover to calm.
We could see the televised
states still covered in stars.
The moon moving through cycles –
a distant clock.
